I would like to share with you some of the healthy tips which I know. Those are very know facts, but some of you may forget they even exist, so I am going to write a little about them.
This tip has been around for several years and for good reason. Those who take five portions of vegetables and fruits a day live healthy and long. For one, the feeling of hunger is diminished by the healthy snacks and on the other the body is supplied with nutrients, which also strengthen the immune system. Anyone who takes this tip to heart can indeed claim to be a healthy eater.
Oxygen awakens the spirits of life and mobilizes the defence system. Take the fresh air every day, even in winter. Another positive effect when we stay outside: we get more light, which also improves our mood. In daylight, the neurotransmitter serotonin is released, which brightens the mood.
Even in very bad weather it is much lighter outside than in closed rooms. In addition, light is important for the production of vitamin D – indispensable for strong bones.
Sugar and sugar-rich foods and beverages should only be eaten in small quantities. Sugar provides so-called "empty" calories because it contains little nutrients. In addition, sugar leads to strong blood glucose fluctuations, which can favour hot-hunger attacks. Sweeteners are a good alternative to sugar in a healthy diet. Steviol glycosides, a purified extract from the stevia plant, have no calories.
